How We Raise Funds to Power Our Mission

At The Willie and Betty Farrior Family Foundation, our impact is made possible by the generosity of individuals, community organizations, and local partners who believe in creating opportunity for all.
Individual DonorsWe are fueled by everyday people who want to make a difference. Whether it’s a one-time gift, monthly giving, or workplace giving campaigns, our individual donors are the heartbeat of our mission. Many are alumni of our programs, local residents, or simply people who believe in the power of education, job training, and second chances.
Community Organizations & Local PartnersChurches, civic clubs, Black chambers of commerce, grassroots nonprofits, and local businesses play a critical role in sustaining our programs. These partners not only provide financial support through sponsorships and donations, but also offer in-kind services, event hosting, outreach, and volunteer efforts that extend our reach and deepen our community impact.
Fundraising Events & CampaignsSignature events like our Annual Leadership Luncheon bring together community leaders and supporters to celebrate success and raise funds for scholarships and workforce development initiatives. Seasonal giving drives, community fundraisers, and peer-to-peer campaigns further mobilize support from across the region.
Together, these efforts ensure that students can afford college, jobseekers can access life-changing training, and families in Talladega can build brighter futures. Every dollar raised stays local and helps us do what we do best—empower people and transform communities.
